Mustafa Zor, one of the members of our research group, has been accepted for 8 months by Université Laval in Canada to carry out his research project titled "Preparation and Characterization of Functionalized Biocomposite Materials for Low Temperature Building Applications," which he submitted within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2219-International Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program. As it is known, in the context of increasingly extreme global climate conditions and according to the International Energy Agency (IEA) 2022 report, building activities account for 30% of world energy consumption and contribute to 26% of global energy-related emissions. Therefore, progress in energy efficiency is crucial to reducing energy consumption. This project aims to conduct preliminary research on building thermal management technologies to achieve energy savings and environmental sustainability, especially in low-temperature building materials.
We would like to thank Hasan Mandal, Full Member of TÜBA and President of TÜBİTAK, for his support for our international scientific studies.
