New Paper: Thermal Properties of Cellulose Nanofibrils and Nickel-Titanium Alloy-Reinforced Sustainable Smart Composites

We are pleased to share our new article titled "Thermal properties of cellulose nanofibrils and nickel-titanium alloy-reinforced sustainable smart composites" published in Wood Material Science & Engineering.
Within the scope of the article, the effects of cellulose nanofibrils, a natural and sustainable bionanomaterial, and nickel-titanium alloy, a metallic smart biomaterial, on the thermal properties of smart composites as a result of synergistic effects were investigated. In general, it was concluded that CNF/NiTi-reinforced composites showed significant improvements in thermal stability, degradation rate, elastic, and viscous properties. These smart composites can be used for advanced material applications requiring thermal stability.
