AART Research Group has achieved many firsts in the field of reproductive biotechnology by bringing together different disciplines with a multidisciplinary approach. Many projects supported by TUBITAK, COST, DPT, BAP and YOK have been carried out by our group in this research area.
The different disciplines in our Research Group, our collaborations between universities and some of the ongoing studies are as follows;
Studies with polymeric, lipophilic or inorganic materials and their nanoparticles, cell culture transfection studies, the creation of polymeric materials and their conjugates, and embryo trials are among the studies carried out in conjunction with the Department of Chemical Technologies, Faculty of Chemical Engineering at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa.
With the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of Boğaziçi University, cDNA extraction from gamete cells, determination of expression levels of certain genes, and RT-PCR studies are carried out.
Studies on the designing and production of transgenic animal models are carried out together with Istanbul University Aziz Sancar Experimental Research Institute Experimental Animals Department.
Within the scope of the YOK supported ADEP 2022 project carried out by our group, joint studies have been initiated with Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of Yıldız Technical University and Department of Basic Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy of Marmara University. Cooperations in the field of health biotechnology continue within the SABIOTEK, which includes three universities.
A joint study is carried out with Yeditepe University Genetics Department on extracellular vesicles and their use in different areas.
It is among our priorities to include postdoctoral researchers who continue or have completed their doctoral education in our research project studies.
Certification training programs in cryobiology, basic cell culture and assisted reproductive techniques have been planned through IUC Continuing Education Center. You can contact us to get information about our research areas and our applications, also to work together.
