The HORIZON
(Healthcare Orientation towards Resilience, Initiative, and Zero-tolerance of
Negativity) project aims to enhance the professional competencies,
psychological resilience, and uncertainty tolerance of nursing assistant
students in the field of healthcare education.
The project seeks to educate resilient,
initiative-taking, empathetic, and positive-minded healthcare professionals who
can adapt to the ever-changing conditions of the health sector, such as climate
change, digital transformation, and psychological stress. To achieve this,
students will be equipped with key competences such as patient
care, effective communication, empathy and compassion, attention to detail, and
accuracy, while teachers will strengthen their pedagogical
capacities through Bioenergy
for Emotional Wellbeing and Green Nursing approaches.
Additionally, the project aims to
establish a zero-tolerance-to-negativity
culture in vocational education, thereby improving
students’ motivation and reinforcing their professional identity.
Through cooperation among partners
from Türkiye,
Spain, Czechia, and Belgium, the project will organize joint activities
designed to increase tolerance to uncertainty in nursing assistant education
and to enhance students’ self-confidence, communication, empathy, and attention
skills.
