The 4th International Discourse Philology Symposium was successfully held on April 10–12, 2025, hosted by Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, with the aim of fostering interdisciplinary exchange in the fields of language and literature. The event was organized in collaboration with Günce Publishing, IUC University Press, the Journal of Discourse Philology, and the Hasan Âli Yücel Faculty of Education, and met the criteria for “international” status as defined by the national academic promotion regulations in Türkiye.
The symposium took place in person at the Büyükçekmece Campus of Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, while participants also had the opportunity to join the sessions online. All accepted papers were published on the official symposium website and also compiled into an e-book by Günce Publishing. In addition, authors were given the opportunity to publish their full texts in an edited academic volume.
